Flores A. Forbes first joined The Black Panther Party at 16 years old. He later became the man who controlled all the guns and weapons for the Party. The Black Panthers were formed in 1966 by Huey Newton and Bobby Seale. The Black Panthers then went from being just a few members with one local chapter in Oakland, to more than 40 chapters across the United States with thousands of members. The Black Panthers goal was to start a revolution that would bring a change to the oppressed people living in America, and Flores Forbes was willing to do whatever it took to make that happen, including kill or be killed.
